How to Choose a Reliable 4 Inch Line Array OEM for Professional Sound?

You know what’s funny? Most 3 way line array manufacturer websites sound exactly the same. “High quality.” “Professional grade.” “Best price.” Blah blah.

I’m not gonna do that. I work at Lesound. We build the S18L424B – a powered dual-4” line array system. And I’ll just tell you what’s good about it and what’s not. Because nothing’s perfect. But for outdoor events, weddings, bands, churches? This thing kicks.

Before we get into it – yeah, we’re a PA loudspeaker factory China based. That means you can buy direct or do custom 3 way PA loudspeaker with your logo. Whatever. We’ll get to that.

First, let me answer the questions I get every single day from people looking for a 4 inch line array OEM.

“How many watts? Is 1400W actually loud?”

Look, wattage is kinda misleading. Peak power is 1400W (1000W+400W). But RMS is what matters – 500W for the 18” sub, 200W for each of the four 4” line array boxes. That’s real, continuous power.

I’ve run this system at a backyard party with maybe 200 people. Didn’t even push it past 70%. The max SPL is 121dB at 1 meter. For comparison, a rock concert is about 110-120dB. So yeah, it’s loud enough. You won’t need a second system unless you’re covering a football field.

“What’s a 3 way line array anyway? Why not just buy a regular PA?”

A 3 way splits the sound into sub (low), mid, and high. Most cheap systems are 2 way – sub + fullrange top. That works, but mids can get muddy.

Our S18L424B uses an 18” sub with a 3” voice coil (80 oz ferrite magnet) for lows. Each line array box has two 4” fullrange drivers for mids, plus a 1” 25mm HF driver for highs. Crossover points are 150Hz and 2.5kHz.

What does that mean for you? Vocals stay clear. Kick drum hits your chest. Cymbals don’t sound like static. And the coverage angle is 60° horizontal x 90° vertical – so sound spreads wide vertically without killing the front row.

“Can I connect my phone? What about Bluetooth?”

Yeah, it’s got TWS Bluetooth 5.0. That means true wireless stereo – you can pair two phones or two systems if you have a second S18L424B. There’s also an MP3 player with an LCD screen. Just stick a USB drive in and play.

Inputs? Combo jack (XLR/1/4”) x2, 6.35mm x2, 3.5mm aux, and two USB-A ports. Outputs: Speakon for the line arrays, plus a 6.35mm out.

So you can run mics, guitar, phone music, and a laptop all at once. The sub has a 5-channel mixer built right in.

“What about DSP? I’m not an audio engineer.”

Good news – you don’t need to be. The DSP gives you ±6dB EQ on multiple bands, plus ECHO, GT Effects, and REVERB. There’s also a limiter to protect the speakers.

Here’s what real users do: Turn the REVERB knob a little for vocals so it doesn’t sound dry. Boost the low EQ if you want more thump. Cut the high EQ if the room is echoey. That’s it. You don’t need a laptop.

“I sell on Amazon. Can you do 4” line array system Amazon packaging?”

Yes. We’re a China line array speaker manufacturer that’s done Amazon speaker stand ODM? Wait no, that’s speaker stands – for line arrays, we do Amazon prep. That means:

  • Flat retail box with your artwork
  • Foam inserts that fit FBA rules
  • Barcode labels (FNSKU)
  • Instruction manual in English (or German, French, Spanish – just tell us)
  • Your logo on the grille or cabinet

We’ve shipped hundreds of units to Amazon US, EU, and JP. No issues.

“Can you make a custom 3 way PA loudspeaker for me? Different color? My logo?”

Yeah, that’s what we do as a sound system supplier custom. Want the sub in white instead of black? Fine. Want your brand name laser-engraved on the line array boxes? No problem. Want a different DSP preset for a specific venue? Send us the settings.

We don’t have crazy MOQs. 30 units is fine for a small rental company. 100 units for a big distributor. We’re a line array speaker factory direct – you talk to the people who build the stuff.

Here’s a real comparison. No marketing BS.

What you get with Lesound S18L424B What you often get from random brands
18” sub with 3” voice coil, 80 oz magnet 15” or 18” with tiny coil, weak magnet
Four 4” line array boxes (two 4” + one 1” HF each)          Two small tops, no real line array
Class-D 1400W peak, 5‑ch mixer Class-AB or no mixer, under 800W
DSP with EQ, echo, reverb, limiter No DSP or basic tone controls
TWS Bluetooth 5.0, LCD, USB, aux Bluetooth 4.0, no screen
Speakon outputs, combo inputs RCA or 1/4” only
Thermal + RMS protection None – overheats and shuts down
Birch plywood sub, PP line array, steel grille MDF or cheap plastic
Full OEM – logo, color, packaging No customization
Factory direct pricing Middlemen add 30‑50%

That last point is huge. When you buy from a professional sound system factory like us, you skip the importers and distributors.

“Is it durable? I do outdoor events where gear gets knocked around.”

The sub is birch plywood – not MDF. Birch doesn’t swell in humidity or crack when dropped. The line array boxes are PP (polypropylene), which is tough as hell. I’ve seen one fall off a stage onto concrete. Scratched but worked fine.

Metal grilles front and back. Recessed handles on the sub. The whole system is built for touring, not just sitting in a church.

“What’s the frequency response? Can it go low for EDM?”

50Hz to 20kHz. The 18” sub hits down to 50Hz with decent authority. For EDM or hip hop, you’ll feel the bass. If you want sub-40Hz, you’d need a bigger sub – but for most weddings, bands, and speeches, 50Hz is plenty.

“How do I set it up? I’m not technical.”

Super simple. Put the sub on the floor. Screw the speaker pole into the sub. Attach the line array bracket to the pole. Stack the four line array boxes on the bracket – they lock together. Run the Speakon cable from sub to the first line array, then daisy-chain to the next. Plug in your mics or phone. Turn it on.

Takes maybe 10 minutes the first time. After that, 5 minutes.

“What about warranty? What if something breaks?”

1-year warranty on manufacturing defects. If a driver blows or the amp fails, we send you a replacement part free. You don’t ship the whole system back. For bulk OEM orders, we can do 2 years at extra cost.

We test every system before it leaves the factory – 4 hour burn-in at full power. If it gets too hot or distorts, it’s rejected.

“I only need one system. Do you sell single units?”

Yeah. We don’t have a minimum. One pair, ten pairs, a hundred. Same price per unit. Same quality.

Let me summarize what you get in the box

  • 1x 18” powered subwoofer (with built-in amp, mixer, DSP, Bluetooth)
  • 4x 4” line array speakers
  • 1x speaker pole (height adjustable)
  • 1x line array mounting bracket
  • 1x Speakon speaker cable (about 5 meters)
  • Power cord (US, EU, UK, or AU plug – you choose)

Everything you need except microphones and stands.

Why go with Lesound?

We’re not some trading company that buys from three different factories and slaps a sticker on. We’re a 3 way line array speaker ODM factory. We design the DSP. We wind the voice coils. We assemble and test every unit.

You call or email us – you get a production guy, not a sales robot. I’ve personally answered emails at 10pm on a Saturday. Because that’s when event people are working.

Ready to order or customize?

Two ways to do this:

Option 1: Buy the standard S18L424B. We ship factory direct. Lead time is usually 20-30 days depending on quantity.

Option 2: Customize. Send me your logo (AI or PNG), tell me your brand colors, and if you want any changes to the DSP (like a “vocal” mode or “bass boost” preset). We’ll make a custom 3 way PA loudspeaker just for you.

Either way – just email Lesound. Tell me:

  • How many systems you need (even 1)
  • Any custom requests (logo, color, packaging)
  • Your shipping address

I’ll reply within 24 hours with a price, a timeline, and photos of similar builds.

No chatbots. No “kindly do the needful.” Just a real factory guy who knows line arrays inside and out.

Hit me up. Let’s get you a system that actually works for your gigs.
